# Capture using an Oscium Nomad

> Capture Wi-Fi traffic using an Oscium Nomad in Airtool 2.

You can use *Airtool 2* to capture Wi-Fi traffic using an *Oscium Nomad*. The *Nomad* is a portable, battery-powered Wi-Fi measurement device, built by [Oscium](https://www.oscium.com) to facilitate efficient and precise site surveys with [Hamina Onsite](https://www.hamina.com/onsite).

The *Nomad* is equipped with four Wi-Fi 6E radios, allowing simultaneous traffic capture on up to four channels across the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands when used with *Airtool 2*.

  Regulatory domain restrictions and other factors determine which channels are available for capturing.

All *Airtool 2* features—including automatic frame slicing, capture size limits, file rotation, and live captures—are fully supported when using the *Nomad*, just as they are with the built-in Wi-Fi adapter.

## Connect and start capturing

Follow these steps to capture Wi-Fi traffic on one or more simultaneous channels using the *Nomad*:

1. Connect the *Nomad* to your Mac.
2. Wait a few seconds for the *Nomad* to initialize and become ready for capturing.
3. Open the *Airtool 2* menu and choose **Oscium Nomad…**.
4. Select and configure the channel and channel width for each channel you want to capture.
5. Click **Start Capture** to begin.
