# TFTP

> TFTP settings in Transfer.

Use TFTP settings to configure advanced TFTP options. To change these settings, choose *Transfer* > *Settings*, then click TFTP.

| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Allow broadcast transfer requests | Allow *Transfer* to receive TFTP requests sent to the broadcast address (255.255.255.255).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     |
| Retransmission timeout (seconds)  | Set the number of seconds *Transfer* waits before retransmitting a file block.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| Retry limit                       | Set the maximum number of retransmission attempts for a lost file block.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       |
| Accept options                    | Select which TFTP options *Transfer* accepts during option negotiation: **•** *Timeout*: retransmission timeout negotiation.<br />**•** *Block Size*: larger TFTP data blocks.<br />**•** *Transfer Size*: total file size negotiation.<br />**•** *Block Number Rollover*: transfers exceeding the 16-bit block number limit. |
