# General

> General settings in WiFi Explorer.

Use General settings to configure the scan sensitivity, signal strength units, and more. To change these settings, choose *WiFi Explorer* > *Settings*, then click General.

| Option                                                   | Description                                                                                                  |
| -------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Display signal strength as                               | Choose the units, *dBm* or *%*, to display signal strength and noise measurements.                           |
| Scan sensitivity                                         | Adjust the scan sensitivity to hide networks with weaker signals.                                            |
| Display 100% when signal strength is greater or equal to | Choose the *dBm* value that corresponds to 100% when displaying signal strength and noise measurements as %. |
| Display 0% when signal strength is smaller or equal to   | Choose the *dBm* value that corresponds to 0% when displaying signal strength and noise measurements as %.   |
| Delete networks if not seen after                        | Choose the time after which *WiFi Explorer* deletes networks no longer found.                                |
