# General

> General settings in WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows.

Use General settings to configure signal strength units, appearance, and more. To change these settings, choose *File* > *Settings*, then click General.

| Option                                                   | Description                                                                                                    |
| -------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Display signal strength as                               | Choose the units, *dBm* or *%*, to display signal strength measurements.                                       |
| Display 100% when signal strength is greater or equal to | Choose the *dBm* value that corresponds to 100% when displaying signal strength as %.                          |
| Display 0% when signal strength is smaller or equal to   | Choose the *dBm* value that corresponds to 0% when displaying signal strength as %.                            |
| Delete networks if not seen after                        | Choose the time after which *WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows* deletes networks no longer found.                  |
| Appearance                                               | Click the pop-up menu, then choose *WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows*'s appearance: *System*, *Light*, or *Dark*. |
