# Save and export scan results

> Save and export wireless network scan results in WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows.

You can save or export the scan results.

When you save the scan results, you can save them as a PCAP Next Generation (PCAPNG) or PCAP file. All information available for each network is preserved, not just the fields currently displayed in the *Networks Table*.

When you export the scan results, *WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows* saves them as a CSV file. Only the values from the columns currently shown in the *Networks Table* are saved, in the same order. Units go in the column headers instead of next to each value, for example *Signal (dBm)* or *Max Rate (Mbps)*. Signal strength uses the units you chose in [General settings](https://docs.intuitibits.com/wifiexplorerpro-windows/general-settings.md).

You can choose whether to export all the networks, only the networks displayed, or only the selected networks. Displayed and selected networks are exported in the order they appear in the *Networks Table*.

***

## Save the scan results

1. Choose *File* > *Save As*.
2. Select the desired file format (PCAPNG or PCAP), enter a filename, and click **Save**.

## Export the scan results

1. Choose *File* > *Export All Networks*, *Export Displayed Networks*, or *Export Selected Networks*.
2. Enter a filename and click **Save**.

***

## Save graphs as images

You can export the *Spectrum 2.4 / 5 GHz* and *Spectrum 6 GHz* graphs as images.

To save an image from a graph, Ctrl-click or Alt-click the graph and drag it to the desktop, a document, or email.
