# Advanced

> Advanced settings in WiFi Explorer Pro 3.

Use Advanced settings to adjust the visualization of various items and configure vendor database updates. To change these settings, choose *WiFi Explorer Pro 3* > *Settings*, then click Advanced.

| Option                                                | Description                                                                                                                                                                                                                   |
| ----------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Include hidden service networks                       | Mesh and other Wi-Fi systems may create hidden service networks for communication between the Wi-Fi system controller and extenders. Check this option if you want the scan results to include these hidden service networks. |
| When showing network labels, also include             | Show the access point name or annotations under the network label in the *WiFi Explorer Pro 3*'s *Spectrum 2.4 / 5 GHz* and *Spectrum 6 GHz* view.                                                                            |
| Hide 2.4 or 5 GHz graphs if no networks are displayed | Hide empty graphs for a particular frequency band in the *WiFi Explorer Pro 3*'s *Spectrum 2.4 / 5 GHz* view automatically.                                                                                                   |
| Automatically check for updates                       | Check for vendor database updates automatically.                                                                                                                                                                              |
| Automatically download and update database            | Choose to download and update the vendor database automatically.                                                                                                                                                              |
| Check Now                                             | Click to check for vendor database updates manually.                                                                                                                                                                          |
