# Coloring Rules

> Coloring Rules settings in WiFi Explorer Pro 3.

Use Coloring Rules to create and manage coloring rules. To change these settings, choose *WiFi Explorer Pro 3* > *Settings*, then click Coloring Rules.

| Option                       | Description                                                                                                                                                                                           |
| ---------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Apply rule set               | Check to use a coloring rule set. To select the rule set, click the pop-up menu, then choose the coloring rule set you want to use.                                                                   |
| Show rule set legend         | Choose to show a legend for the active coloring rule set in the bottom-right corner of the *WiFi Explorer Pro 3* window.                                                                              |
| Rule Sets list (on the left) | Shows the list of coloring rule sets. Select one to see or change its rules. To create a new rule set, click the **+** button. To duplicate, import, or export a rule set, click the **More** button. |
| Rules list (on the right)    | Shows the list of rules for the selected rule set. To enable or disable a rule in the selected rule set, click its **Enable** checkbox. To add more rules, click the **+** button.                    |
