# Save and export scan results

> Save and export wireless network scan results in WiFi Explorer Pro 3.

You can save or export the scan results.

When you save scan results, *WiFi Explorer Pro 3* saves information about every network it found, including historical data, to a file with the `.wifiexplorer` extension.

When you export the scan results, you can export the data in PCAPNG, PCAP, or CSV format. PCAPNG is selected by default.

When exporting to PCAPNG or PCAP, all information available for each network is preserved, not just the fields currently displayed in the *Networks Table*. When exporting to CSV, only the values from the *Networks Table* corresponding to the non-hidden columns in the active profile are saved.

You can choose whether to export all the networks, only the networks displayed, or only the selected networks.

***

## Export the scan results

To save an image from a graph, Option-click the graph and drag it to the desktop, a document, or email.
