The following table lists the columns available in the *Utilization* inspector and their support in active and passive scan modes:

| Column | Description | Active scan mode | Passive scan mode |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | :--------------: | :---------------: |
| Channel | An occupied channel in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or 6 GHz band. | ✔︎ | ✔︎ |
| Band | The channel's frequency band (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or 6 GHz). | ✔︎ | ✔︎ |
| Beacon Overhead | Percentage of airtime used for transmission of beacons on the occupied channel. | ✔︎ | ✔︎ |
| Networks | Number of networks using the occupied channel as primary channel. | ✔︎ | ✔︎ |
| Overlapping Networks | Number of networks either using a primary channel that overlaps with the occupied channel or the occupied channel as a secondary channel. | ✔︎ | ✔︎ |
| Clients | Number of associated clients detected on the occupied channel. | | ✔︎ |

You can select an entry from the *Utilization* table to show only the networks using the selected channel as a primary channel. To include overlapping networks, select **Include overlapping networks in selection**.

When you select an entry from the *Utilization* table, the beacon overhead rating for the selected channel is shown at the inspector's bottom. Beacon overhead ratings are listed below:

| Rating | Beacon overhead |
| --------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Low | Less than 10% |
| Medium | Greater than or equal to 10%, but less than 20% |
| High | Greater than or equal to 20%, but less than 50% |
| Very High | Greater than or equal to 50% |
