# Annotations

> Annotations settings in WiFi Signal.

Use Annotations settings to create and manage annotations. To change these settings, click on the *WiFi Signal* menu bar extra, then click on the *gear* icon and choose *Settings*, then select Annotations.

| Option                   | Description                                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| ------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Search                   | Use the search field to show only the annotations you want to manage.                                                                                                                                       |
| Annotations list         | Shows the list of annotations. To create a new annotation, click the **+** button. To remove the selected annotation, click the **-** button. To import or export annotations, click the **Action** button. |
| Annotate Current Network | Creates a new annotation using the BSSID of your Mac's current Wi-Fi network connection.                                                                                                                    |
