General - Intuitibits Help

Use General settings to configure the signal strength display units, what metrics should be shown, and more. To change these settings, click on the WiFi Signal menu bar extra, then click on the gear icon and choose Settings, then select General.

Option	Description
Display signal strength as	Choose the units, dBm or %, to display signal strength and noise measurements.
Graph	Choose what metric should be graphed: • Signal Strength • Signal-to-Noise Ratio • Data Rate • MCS Index
Show channel width	Choose to display the channel width together with the channel number.
Show IP address	Choose to display the IP address assigned to the Wi-Fi adapter.
Show MCS index	Choose to display the current MCS index.
Automatically close the application’s popover	Choose to automatically dismiss WiFi Signal’s popover when clicking on any other area of the screen.
Automatically check and update database	Check and install new vendor database updates automatically.
Check Now	Click to check for vendor database updates manually.
