Transfer is a reliable, standalone, multi-protocol file transfer server application for macOS. It is designed for network administrators and IT professionals who need to manage network equipment that uses a file transfer protocol to perform firmware updates, pull or push configuration files, retrieve logs, and more. Transfer offers a file browser view for the root directory and two lists for displaying the status of transfers, one for downloads (read requests) and another for uploads (write requests). You can drag and drop files to or out of Transfer, or quickly preview, open, rename, and delete files in the root directory from the file browser view. The information for each file transfer includes the name of the file, the transfer rate, how much time is left to complete the transfer (when the file size is known), the IP address of the client that initiated the transfer, and the protocol type. Transfer automatically saves the information of completed and failed transfers so you can go back and check something about them, or export them to CSV. Settings are available to enable or disable file transfers over a given protocol, configure how to handle overwriting existing files during uploads, and other advanced settings for each supported protocol.
