Annotations will be shown in the Signal Strength, Spectrum 2.4 / 5 GHz, and Spectrum 6 GHz graphs only when the Annotations column is being displayed.
Add annotations
There are two ways you can annotate a network. You can annotate a network by going to WiFi Explorer > Settings > Annotations and clicking the + button to add a new annotation for a given BSSID. The BSSID field value may include ? or * to match multiple networks to the same annotation. ? will match exactly one character, while * will match zero or more characters. For example, an annotation with BSSID11:22:33:44:55:* will be displayed for networks with BSSIDs 11:22:33:44:55:66 and 11:22:33:44:55:77.
You can also add annotations directly on the Networks Table by double-clicking the Annotations column’s cell of the network you want to annotate. The BSSID mapped to the annotation will correspond to the BSSID of the selected network.
