When launching Transfer, a server instance for each supported protocol is created and bound to your Mac’s existing network interfaces. Transfer shows the protocols and list of IP addresses that a client can use to reach it at the bottom bar.
Right-click over the bottom bar to choose and copy an IP address.

Manage files from the file browser view

Transfer serves files from the root directory. The App Store version prompts you to select this folder the first time you launch it; the non-App Store version defaults to ~/Transfer. You can later change the root directory to serve files from a different location. Using the file browser view, you can drag and drop files to or out of Transfer, or quickly preview, open, rename, or delete files in the root directory.
You can organize the files into folders; however, note that a TFTP client might not support paths and may only accept filenames.
When using SFTP, Transfer will always present to clients a root directory called /Transfer regardless of where the server’s root directory is located on your machine.
