In addition to Wi-Fi traffic, Airtool 2 can also capture Zigbee and Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) traffic using a compatible USB sniffer dongle.

Compatible Bluetooth LE USB sniffer dongles

When you plug in a compatible USB sniffer dongle, Airtool 2 will automatically show an option in its main menu to capture Zigbee or Bluetooth LE traffic on a specific channel.

Capture Zigbee traffic

  1. Plug in a compatible Zigbee USB sniffer dongle.
  2. Start a Zigbee capture by choosing the Zigbee channel (11-26) from Capture Zigbee.

Capture Bluetooth LE traffic

  1. Plug in a compatible Bluetooth LE USB sniffer dongle.
  2. Start a Bluetooth LE capture by choosing the Bluetooth LE advertisement channel (37-39) from Capture Bluetooth LE.
