If you have configured Airtool 2 to generate multiple files per capture, Airtool 2 will ask you to choose the capture files’ location before the capture starts.
Get started
Set the location for capture files
Configure where Airtool 2 saves capture files.
Capture files are automatically saved to your Desktop using the pcap format and the following naming convention: airtool_yyyy-MM-dd_hh.mm.ss.a.pcap — for example, airtool_2024-01-15_03.45.22.PM.pcap.
You can change the default location for capture files by choosing the Airtool 2 menu bar extra > Settings > General and selecting a different location.
You may also have Airtool 2 ask where to save the file after each capture by selecting Ask for each capture under Capture files location.
