When importing scan results from these mobile applications into WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows, many of the columns and fields will be blank since the data from the results is very limited and doesn’t include all the information that can be normally retrieved from a scan.

AirPort Utility
Apple’s AirPort Utility for iOS includes a Wi-Fi scanner you can use to scan for nearby networks from your iPhone or iPad. Scan results include the following fields: BSSID, SSID, channel, RSSI, and a timestamp. AirPort Utility offers different ways to share the scan results. The easiest way to import them into WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows is to use the Mail option: open the email message on your PC, select and copy the message’s content with Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, then paste it into WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows with Ctrl-V. Any signatures or footer information found in the email is ignored, so you don’t need to worry about that. You can also send yourself the scan results as a text file and then open or drag & drop it into WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows. Just make sure the file’s name has the.txt or .csv extension.
When importing scan results from AirPort Utility, the date portion of the First Seen, Last Seen, and Seen columns in WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows will show January 1, 2000. The time field found in the scan results from AirPort Utility only specifies the time of the day.
Analiti, Aruba Utilities, and Mobile Eye
Analiti and Aruba Utilities are two popular Wi-Fi analyzers for Android. 7Signal’s Mobile Eye is a Wi-Fi performance agent for mobile devices. You can import data from these applications by exporting the scan results as a CSV file and then opening the file in WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows. You can also drag & drop the CSV file into WiFi Explorer Pro for Windows.There is no historical signal strength information available when importing data from Analiti, Aruba Utilities, or Mobile Eye.
