Create profiles
You can create custom profiles and assign different columns to it. You can also show or hide columns in a profile, add new columns, and change the column order.WiFi Explorer Pro 3 includes a default profile. This profile cannot be deleted or renamed.
Create a profile
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Click the + button under the profile list to create a new profile.
- Customize the columns in the new profile.
Manage profiles
You can switch between profiles. You can also rename, duplicate, reset, import or export a profile.Switch between profiles
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select a profile under Active Profile.
Rename a profile
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the profile and press Enter, then type a new profile name.
Duplicate a profile
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the profile you want to duplicate.
- Click the More button under the profile list, then choose Duplicate Profile.
Reset a profile
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the profile you want to reset.
- Click the More button under the profile list, then choose Reset Profile.
Import or export a profile
To import a profile:
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Click the More button under the profile list, then choose Import.
- Select the profile you want to import and click Import.
To export a profile:
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the profile you want to export.
- Click the More button under the profile list, then choose Export.
Customize profiles
You can customize what columns are displayed for each profile. You can also add, pin, rename, or reorder columns.Add a column
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the desired profile.
- Click the + button found under the list of columns and choose the field you want to display as a column.
Some information element fields cannot be displayed as columns. If the field cannot be displayed as a column, the Apply as Column option will not be available, and you cannot drag and drop the field either.
Show or hide columns
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the profile, then click the Show field for the column you want to show or hide.
Pin or unpin a column
Column pinning allows you to fix a column to the left edge of the Networks Table so that the column remains visible when scrolling the table horizontally.- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the profile, then click the Pin field for the column you want to pin or unpin.
Rename a column
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the desired profile.
- Select the column and press Enter, then type a new column name.
Reorder columns
- Go to WiFi Explorer Pro 3 > Settings and click Profiles.
- Select the desired profile.
- Select the column and drag it within the list, then drop it into the new position.
