Filter networks using automatic filters - Intuitibits Help

Automatic filters are dynamically generated based on the scan results. You can choose these filters from the left sidebar by selecting one of the items under each of the following categories:

Category	Description
Network Name	Shows a list of unique SSIDs in use by networks found during the scan. If one or more networks are hidden, then the value Hidden Network is used. When you select an item from this category, only the networks using the selected SSID are shown.
Annotation	Shows a list of unique annotations assigned to the networks found during the scan. Only the networks that match the selected annotation are shown when you choose an item under this category.
Mode	Shows a list of unique 802.11 modes in use by networks during a scan. A mode can be, for example, 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11b/g/n, etc. When you select an item from this category, only the networks that match the selected mode are shown.
Channel	Shows a list of unique primary channels in use by networks found during the scan. When you select an item from this category, only the networks using the selected primary channel are shown.
Channel Width	Shows a list of unique channel widths in use by networks found during the scan. When you select an item from this category, only the networks using the selected channel width are shown.
Overlapping Networks	Shows a list of unique channels occupied by networks found during the scan. Channels that are considered to be overlapping, including secondary channels, are listed under this category. When you select an item from this category, only the networks overlapping on the selected channel are shown.
Security	Shows a list of unique security modes in use by networks found during the scan. When you select an item from this category, only the networks using the selected security mode are shown.
Access Point	Shows a list of unique access points, identified by BSSID, found during the scan. If two or more networks using different BSSIDs belong to the same access point, then a masked BSSID is used to identify the access point. When you select an item from this category, only the chosen access point’s networks are shown.
AP Name	Shows a list of unique access point names in use by networks found during the scan. When you select an item from this category, only the networks that are advertising the chosen access point name are shown.
Vendor	Shows a list of unique vendors from the networks found during the scan. When you select an item from this category, only the networks that match the selected vendor are shown.
Information Element	Shows a list of unique information element names advertised by networks found during the scan. When you select an item from this category, only the networks that include the selected information element in their beacon or probe response frames are shown.

If you choose an automatic filter from the sidebar, you can refine the scan results further by typing other keywords in the Filter field.

Negate automatic filters

You can negate an automatic filter by selecting the filter and pressing Spacebar. For example, if you choose WPA2 (PSK) from the Security category and press Spacebar, only networks that do not match the WPA2 (PSK) filter are shown. To revert the filter, press Spacebar again.

The prefix ~ identifies a negated automatic filter, for example, ~WPA2 (PSK).
